Official design
The State Department's commemorative passport page shows a portrait and printed signature of President Donald Trump, Declaration of Independence imagery and a gold Freedom 250 emblem. The document retains the standard passport's security features.

The official page, last updated August 3, lists 250,000 commemorative passports and appointment options at the Washington Passport Agency and designated events around the country. It says online, mail, ordinary acceptance-facility and overseas embassy applications do not receive this design. Established application forms and passport fees apply. Check that page for current eligibility, appointments and processing details.
Why the resale advice was removed
Under 22 CFR 51.7, a U.S. passport remains U.S. government property and must be returned on demand. Our earlier recommendation to treat this identity document as a flip was inappropriate. The stored eBay search excluded real, official and functional passports, so it could not support a comparison for the document described here. We have removed that comparison and the retail-price field.
