What's Dropping
The 2026 Topps Chrome Tennis hobby box is the latest release in Topps' tennis card lineup. Priced at $99.99 retail, each box contains 12 packs with 2 guaranteed autographs. This year's edition features on-card autographs and a smaller checklist compared to previous releases, which should lead to better hit rates.
When & Where
The product became available on September 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET through Topps.com. Purchase limits were set at 10 boxes per customer for single boxes and 2 cases per customer for sealed cases (12 boxes per case at $1199.99).
The Play
This release shows potential for resale, though with some caveats. The tennis card market has a smaller buyer pool compared to other sports. Singles typically have lower ceilings, and the release coincides with more popular products like Bowman and Star Wars that may attract more breaker attention.
Resale Outlook
Our team estimates resale value around $160 based on current listings, with pre-sale comps starting around $150 and active listings around $165. While there's profit potential here, it's important to consider the more limited market for tennis cards compared to other sports. As always, resale values are estimates and not guaranteed.
